When I first saw the video of Susan May Warren jumping out of plane all in the name of research for a book, I instinctively knew that PJ made her do it. I quickly jumped to this conclusion because there are many things that PJ makes me want to do, in spite of her being a fictional character. I admire her boldness, spunk, sense of humour, and outspoken nature. I even tried on a few of her signature phrases for size, but after that earned me a few quizzical stares from family members I decided to live out my PJ inspired adventures through the books in this series. And what a fun ride it has been!
I am in denial that this is the end of the PJ Sugar adventure/escapades. This series has brought me some much entertainment and laughter that I am reluctant to let PJ move to my reread bookshelf without the hope of a new book on the horizon (Susie if you are reading this, PLEASE bring PJ back). This series is romantic comedy with purpose and depth which is why I am so drawn to it…ok ok Boone and Jeremy play a big roll as well, but what’s a single girl to do?
Rating: 9/10 (for the whole series)
